God
We believe in one God eternally existing as three distinct Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. These three Persons are equal in power and glory.
See 1 Corinthians 8:5, Matthew 28:19.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is God’s Word. Because Scripture is divinely inspired, it has ultimate authority for the church. In the Bible, we learn everything we need to know pertaining to our salvation.
See Hebrews 1:1-2, 2 Peter 1:20, 2 Timothy 3:16.
The World
God loves the world and created it good. However, sin has marred the world and the image of God in each of us. Sin is the breaking of God’s Law, which is ultimately about loving God and our neighbors as ourselves. Due to sin, the world is broken. Because God loves the world, He has promised to restore it. God conquered sin and death by sending His Son, Jesus, into the world to bear the curse of our sin. Jesus is making all things new and promised to come again in glory to accomplish the work of restoration.
See John 3:16, Genesis 1:31, Luke 10:27, Galatians 5:14, Genesis 3:15, 1 Peter 2:24, Romans 8:22, 1 Corinthians 15:26.
